Photobooth Terms and Conditions:

 

By participating in the photo booth activity, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Consent to Photography and Use. By choosing to participate in  the photo booth, you will be asked to provide your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to the capture and processing of your image. Subject to your consent,  may capture, use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute photos taken of you for communication and promotional purposes as described below. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.

 

2. Scope of Use.  Photos will be used solely for: (i) display in the event photo gallery, and (ii) publication  on LINQ's digital platforms, including but not limited to www.linq.agency, social media channels, newsletters, and other online communication tools operated by LINQ. Please note that publication on public platforms may allow third parties to view, download, and share your image beyond LINQ’s control.

 

3. Retention. Photos published on www.link.agency will remain publicly accessible for a maximum of 40 days following the event. After this period, the photos (i) will be removed from public display and will no longer be publicly accessible through this platform, and (ii) may be securely stored for a limited period for backup, legal, or record-keeping purposes, after which they will be deleted. 4. Data Protection. LINQ will process personal data in photos in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) The data controller is: LINQ BV, Sint-Margrietstraat 10, 9000 Gent, Belgium. Email: info@linq-communication.be The legal basis for processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and you have the following rights: (i) right of access; (ii) right to rectification; (iii) right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”); (iv) right to restriction of processing; (v) right to withdraw consent at any time; and (vi) right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

 

5. Questions and Requests. You may exercise your data protection rights, including requesting access or deletion of your photo, or withdrawing your consent, at any time by contacting:

6. Acceptance. Participation in the photo booth is voluntary. Consent will be obtained through a clear affirmative action prior to the capture of your photo.

 

7. Third-Party Processing.  LINQ may use trusted service providers to host and manage the photo gallery. Such providers process data on behalf of LINQ under appropriate data protection agreements.

 

8. Minors. If you are under the age of 18, participation requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
